The phrase is broad on purpose. It does not explain why the area is restricted, which suits doors where the reason is mundane (a linen store, a cleaners' cupboard, a kitchen corridor) or where you would rather not say (a cash office).

A hotel in Spinningfields has guest corridors on every floor with service doors leading to linen stores and the staff lift. Guests looking for the ice machine regularly open the wrong one. Do not put it on every door

For hazards behind a door, add the specific warning sign as well; this one does not explain danger.

What size should I order?
Pick a size people can read from where they will stand. As a cautious rule, using the distance-factor method in ISO 3864-1, allow roughly 1 metre of reading distance per 25 mm of sign height (measured on the shorter side). Check it against your own risk assessment.
