Basketball Court Rules Sign Printing in Manchester
Shared courts work when everyone plays by the same rules. A board at the gate settles the arguments before they start: who gets the court, what is allowed and what is not, written down where nobody can claim they missed it.

About this product
Outdoor courts get heavy use and very little supervision. Rules on a board at the entrance give regular players something to point to and newcomers something to read.
A Salford park court, Greater Manchester
Picture an outdoor court in a Salford park, busy after school and floodlit into the evening. Teenagers, families and a weekend club all share it. The rules board goes on the fence beside the gate, facing out, at adult eye height, so people read it on the way in.
The mistake is fixing it on the fence inside the court. Balls hit it all day, the board bends and the corners crack. Keep it outside the playing area, on the gate post or the outer face of the fence, and choose Dibond, which shrugs off the occasional stray ball and years of weather.
Please check the rules wording on the product page before ordering. If your court has its own opening hours or a booking contact, add them through typesetting for £15. A person checks the layout before it prints. Who sets the rules is the site owner's decision.
Board and size
Dibond is the one for outdoor courts. 5mm Foamex suits an indoor sports hall wall. Correx is light and fine for a summer tournament. A2 reads from about 17 m; A1, roughly 24 m, across a whole court. Schools and clubs get 10 % off. Prices start at £26.55.
Production takes 5 working days; then a tracked courier usually needs 1 to 3 working days. Delivery is £7.95, free on goods over £100. See school and community signs, then choose your size.

What size should I order?
Pick a size people can read from where they will stand. As a cautious rule, using the distance-factor method in ISO 3864-1, allow roughly 1 metre of reading distance per 25 mm of sign height (measured on the shorter side). Check it against your own risk assessment.
| Size | Can be read from about |
|---|---|
| A3 (297 × 420 mm) | 12 m |
| A2 (420 × 594 mm) | 17 m |
| A1 (594 × 841 mm) | 24 m |
Good lighting stretches the reading distance; in dim spots, go a size up.

How we handle reviews
Reviews come only from customers who bought the product. We match each one to a real order and label it "Verified owner".
Every genuine review goes up as written, good or bad. We do not edit reviews or pick favourites. We only hold back spam, abuse, or reviews containing personal details such as a phone number or email address.
Stars are the average of all published reviews. Nobody is paid, discounted or given gifts for a review.
A review shows its writer’s first name and initial. If you want your own review removed, contact us.
