About this product

Most safety signs warn. This one instructs. It is an action notice, built around the things not to do during a suspected gas leak, so it needs to be read calmly in advance and remembered in a hurry.

Community kitchens and halls in Manchester

A community centre in Moston has a gas-fired kitchen used by different groups through the week: a lunch club on Tuesdays, a youth group on Thursdays, a family party on Saturday. Pick a size people can read from where they will stand. As a cautious rule, using the distance-factor method in ISO 3864-1, allow roughly 1 metre of reading distance per 25 mm of sign height (measured on the shorter side). Check it against your own risk assessment.
