Awaiting Inspection Quality Assurance Sign in Manchester
Unchecked parts that slip onto the line cost far more than a sign. Marking the inspection bay clearly keeps incoming batches apart from approved stock until quality has signed them off, and it gives auditors a visible status at every stage.

About this product
Status belongs on the bay, not the office wall
Quality status only helps when it sits with the goods. Fix the sign to the racking upright, the bay end or the post of a marked floor square, so whatever is parked under it carries the status. A sign on a notice board by the QA office tells nobody which pallet is which.
A Bolton goods-in bay, Greater Manchester
Say a precision engineering supplier in Bolton takes in castings two or three times a week. Each delivery goes into a taped quarantine square marked with an A3 Foamex sign on a post. Once inspected, the batch moves to an approved location. The mistake to avoid: shifting the pallet but leaving the sign behind on a temporary stand, so the next delivery lands in an unmarked spot. Fixing the sign permanently to the bay itself means the location always has a status.
For racking ends where forklifts pass close, vinyl on the upright avoids a board sticking out. Dibond is right for a goods-in canopy open to the weather. A3 reads from roughly 12 metres, enough for most goods-in areas.

What size should I order?
Pick a size people can read from where they will stand. As a cautious rule, using the distance-factor method in ISO 3864-1, allow roughly 1 metre of reading distance per 25 mm of sign height (measured on the shorter side). Check it against your own risk assessment.
| Size | Can be read from about |
|---|---|
| A4 (210 × 297 mm) | 8 m |
| A3 (297 × 420 mm) | 12 m |
| A2 (420 × 594 mm) | 17 m |
Good lighting stretches the reading distance; in dim spots, go a size up.

FAQs
Short answers on ordering awaiting inspection quality assurance sign in manchester.
What should sit next to this sign?
An approved stock sign for released goods and a rejected or quarantine sign for failures. Three clear statuses stop arguments on the floor.
Can I fix it to pallet racking?
Vinyl sticks to smooth racking uprights. A Foamex board can go on a bracket or a flat cross-beam face with strong pads.
How long does a Manchester order take?
Up to 5 working days in production, then usually 1 to 3 working days with the courier.
